Ran into a conundrum with my game session tonight and am looking for some guidance.

Here is the situation:
14th lvl Druid casts animal growth on large wolf animal companion turning him into a huge creature. Druid then casts Carry Companion on animal companion to change him into a hand held statue. The Druid then transforms into a diminutive bat and wants to carry said statue around.

My question is how big in size/weight is the resulting statue?

Unfortunately Carry Companion only says "transforming the creature into a miniature figurine of stone, small enough to fit into the palm of your hand." (fairly vague)

Does this mean it is a statue similar in size to the Karzoug statue mini? or is it similar in size to say a dire wolf mini? or is it something smaller?

I could see the bat being able to fly while carrying something similar in size to a dire wolf mini or smaller with out a problem. However if it sized similar to the Karzoug statue mini then I have a hard time imagining the bat flying without issue as the statue would as big or bigger then the bat.

Fit in the palm sounds more like dire statue mini.

The druid can also ant haul themself and fly around with a ridiculous amount of stuff.

A polymorphic pouch would also be a good way to carry something

Doing the math, he should be good to go. A normal bat, no. Str 1 and 1/4 carry capacity would make anything over a pound pretty damn hard to fly with.

But a druid suffers only a -4 Str would at a str 10 would be able to carry a 5 lbs stone around as a light load.

It is not specific. Only real answer is to ask your DM. I'd say it is probably around the size of your cellphone, or a salt shaker.

The wording doesn't indicate that the size of the creature matters. It simply reads that they become a stone miniature that fits in your palm. That being said, an Elephant or a Fox would be the same size miniature. A safe interpretation would be comparing to a Figurine of Wondrous Power which is listed as 1 lb., even though they are made of many different materials (metal, stone, ivory, etc.) and are typically 1 inch in size.

Why would I choose a Figurine of Wondrous Power as a reference? Because of the feat Companion Figurine, which treats one as if it were your Animal Companion that reverts to it's figurine form on command or if it should be "killed".

If there is still a concern about whether or not a Bat could grasp and carry said figurine then simply have the Druid place the figure in their pocket before using Wildshape... all equipment is melded into their body. That's what I do with my Druid ;)
