This is a myth actually, as it wouldn't create a perpetual motion machine - the speed of the rotation would sear off the butter quickly, dropping the cat on the ground.

Well, the material component for the Grease spell is butter. Maybe that means it's close enough to count? And we know that isn't flammable, so that should help it not get burnt off. Duration is a bit of a problem, but it should almost even out with the size. Even 10 minutes of a spinning Dire Tiger should generate enough energy to make up for what was spent setting it up.

Depends on if the cat rotates fast enough for air resistance to come into play. Many similar magnet setups rotate much slower than that.

83?) The pages of a blank spellbook. Watch the arcanists/magi/wizards gasp in horror and rush for the Sovereign Glue and listen for their sighs of relief later.

As for actually Sovereign Gluing people to stuff,

83.5) Your actual spellbook, or familiar for witches. Let's see that snot-nosed antagonistic GM try to take away your most important class feature NOW!
