Wyroot and Ironwood spell

In your opinion, would be possible to turn wyroot permanently into a steel-like substance with Ironwood and use it to craft a sword?

Ironwood works on normal wood. Wyroot isn't normal wood - it has special properties.

Also, ironwood can't be made permanent.
