Ship piloting and Stunts

I have been studying the starship rules and Stunts seem to get quickly impossible.

So your getting 4 Stats bumped every 5 levels so Dex is 19 @ 5th, 20 @ 10th, 21 @ 15th and 22 @ 20th

So lets assume DEX is 18(+4)@1st,19(+4)@5th,20(+5)@10th,21(+5)@15th and 22(+6)@20th

Skill would be:
Ship build (focus on Maneuverability) +2
OPERATIVE Uncanny Pilot (Ex) +2 evade or trick pilot actions
Trained skill +3
Ranks per level +1
Theme "Ace Pilot" +1
DEX +4,+5 or +6 by level

Stunts
Back off - DC10 + 2x ship's tier
Barrel Roll - DC10 + 2x ship's tier
Evade - DC10 + 2x ship's tier
Flip and Burn - DC15 + 2x ship's tier
Flyby DC20 + 2x ship's tier
Slide DC10 + 2x ship's tier

Ships Tier is the average party level
SO....
1st level 1 Rank,+6(above),+4(Stats)=+11(DC 12,17,22)(needs 1,6,11)
5th level 5 Ranks,+6(above),+4(Stats)=+15(DC 20,25,30)(needs 5,10,15)
10th level 10 Ranks,+6(above),+5(Stats)=+21(DC 30,35,40)(needs 9,14,19)
15th level 15 Ranks,+6(above),+5(Stats)=+26(DC 40,45,50)(needs 14,19,24)
20th level 20 Ranks,+6(above),+6(Stats)=+32(DC 50,55,60)(needs 18,23,27)

So the better and more advanced my ship becomes the harder it is to do stunts with???


This has been brought up to the Devs multiple times already and they are looking into it :3

Silver Crusade

This is an issue that several people have noticed.

Honestly I'm not too worried about it. Its a problem that will solve itself, when we slowly get more and more options to increase skills. Part of me wonders if this was done on purpose so that when power creep happens it'll make the game MORE balanced, not less.

Of course, its easy for me to say. I doubt I'll play much if at all at the levels where this will matter.
