filling out chronicles

I am a bit confused on how we are supposed to be recording reputation on the starfinder chronicle sheets. On the bottom of each sheet it has a place to write in factions, then a reputation ___|___. What is supposed to be written there?

The first space is for how many Reputation were gained that session, and the second space is for the character's total Reputation with that faction.

That's what I thought as well.
However, reading the Guide, the first number is 'her current Reputation with those factions (W)' The second number is the updated reputation for a given faction.

So assuming I play 3 games with one character from, say, the Exo Guardians and I gain 2 Fame in each scenario, my reputation will be updated as
Chronicle 1 would read 0 | 2
Chronicle 2 would read 2 | 4
Chronicle 3 would read 4 | 6

Terry is correct. Had to read that one myself about 3 times for it to sink in.

Crap, I've done it wrong for 3 scenarios then. Fortunately, I know all the players and can correct things.

FWIW I did it incorrectly as well. It was a friend who pointed out my mistake.

I'm guessing this is one of those things many people will do wrong.

It kinda feels like there should be a gray GM block between the slashes, ie ___/___/___ for before, earned, after. Because of the scenarios that have the potential to aware a bonus point to a faction (regardless of what you have slotted). This would have made the intent clear.
