Does anyone have a map for their bodega? I want to have it in case my players tonight decide to fiht them rather than talk.

I haven't drawn up a map, but in my notes I've decided that the bodega's back room is about 20' x 40' with a door at one end leading to the bodega and a table at the other end (Jabaxa and his crew sit with their backs to the wall; a nondescript door behind them leads to a small office where information can be found on the Fusion Queen). The remainder of the room is given over to shelves of food items and storage for the bodega. That way, if a fight does occur, the PCs can retreat to cover and proceed somewhat tactically.

I made a small map of the bodega. I can send it to you later today.

That would be amazing, thanks.

I too noticed that map A is missing from both the printed and pdf, it would seem that this AP was made and put together in a rush.

It's not missing. It's not intended to be a combat encounter. APs rarely, if ever, provide maps for encounters intended to be resolved through role-play.

Though it is not meant to be a combat never underestimate the eagerness of PCs to shed blood, and in the investigations (DC 25+) it states see "area A" in bold text... there is no area A.

Area A is Mama Fats' bodega. It's listed in the adventure as "A. Mama Fats' (CR 3)". (Bold is mine for emphasis)

As Joseph Wilson mentioned, APs usually don't include maps for every area, and especially leave off maps that aren't likely to be used for combat. However, they still organize the adventure into locations/areas.

Bodega is here.

What is Mama Fats' bodega?

Bodega is not a clearly defined word. I could mean ...

  • a convenience store especially in a Spanish speaking neighborhood.
  • A wine shop
  • A wine cellar
... or even ...
  • A storehouse

"The gang uses Mama Fats' as a message drop and safe house, but nothing about the shop marks it as anything other than a small neighborhood grocery store."

So, definition 1.
