First lvl free rebuild in Starfinder?

So I can sell back my level 1 weapons at full price until I reach level 2?

At first that seemed cheesy, but I could get the same benefit by using GM credit for my PC's first adventure.

Yes that is true. But really, how many Tier 3 weapons are there? Because that is what you are talking about. Buying a higher tier weapon.

Yeah, I'm just saving 90% of the cost of my level 1 weapon which I replace with a level 2 after the first adventure.

Not really much different than in PFS when you buy leather armor first adventure then upgrade to chain shirt on the second.
