Why did you guys and gals choose to stop having the various AP forums closed up so you have to click on them to see their threads? They have a little arrow next to them, but when I click it to see all the recent activity in the forum, nothing happens. It's annoying to me, I'm sorry to say. Those forums were my primary reason for being on this site. Would it be possible to open them back up for viewing (without clicking)?

I think I understand what you may be experiencing: by default, we collapse certain forums when you are not logged into a paizo.com account. This is because we have dozens of subforums that make the page fairly unwieldy to navigate if they are all left unexpanded, and so certain subforums are prioritzed for guest view. If you are logged into your account, the site should be storing which subforums you've left expanded and unexpanded.

Yes, indeed! What you're saying is exactly what I'm experiencing. The problem, however, is that the majority of the subforums that I visit and like to read in are the ones that have collapsed on me, while ones I never go to are the ones that haven't! I'm curious, then, how I can keep those subforums I visit regularly to stay open, because when I click on that little arrow to the left of the subforum to drop it down, nothing happens.

Sub-Creator -- I took some time to investigate and I can verify it's happening as well, although it looks to only be happening for very specific accounts such as yours, although I haven't figured out what's causing it yet. I've added this issue to our issue tracking to make sure we have it actively on the radar to be addressed going forward.
I really appreciate your bringing this to our attention.

If it is any help in the troubleshooting-process: I've got the exact same problem as Sub-Creator
edit: thought it was a new "feature", glad to hear that it is some kind of a bug since I would really appreciate the old appearance.
I suspect this bug is actually quite old judging from a few of my earliest memories of the website. I forgot about it after my first few months as Customer Service and it's managed to fly under the radar until now.
