Starfinder Core Rule Book Spine Damage / Defective

Hello,

I just recently started reading through my Starfinder Core rule book and noticed that the pages are very loose and are completely separated from the spine / backing of the book. As this is my first subscription experience with you guys I am unsure how to proceed. For reference my order # was 4390468. As I really look forward to using this book a lot I am very concerned that this problem will only worsen and as a avid collector I try to keep my books in as good of condition as possible. I am hoping to arrange a replacement and any help you can give me on this matter would be very much appreciated. I have e-mailed pictures of the issue to customer service as well and hope you guys can help me out. So far I have been very pleased with your service but really hoping we can work this out.

For clarification this issue im having is in regards the binding of my standard Starfinder Core Rule book and the images I sent in the email are of it. My limited edition is perfectly fine.

We're still at a skeleton crew from GenCon, so the binding issue is something that we're going to have to examine more closely once everybody is back so we can determine the best way to get it worked out. Just checking to see if there is any update. I understand you are all busy and probably just getting back to the grind. Unfortunately it seems the only thing holding my pages in at this point is the fly leafs attached to the front and back covers. Thanks again for any help resolving this issue.

Since you purchased the book elsewhere your first step should be seeing if the place you purchased it from will exchange it for you. We have steps in place to replace damaged or defective items through distribution. If they are unable or unwilling to exchange it for you please let us know.

Thanks so much! I know you guys are slammed and I really appreciate your help resolving this. Your products are great and customer service just as awesome as I have been told. We introduced my youngest son to Starfinder over GenCon weekend and he loves it! Doing my best to set up the next generation of Paizo fans :)


Thank you. I just got back home with it. My store just switch my defective one for a brand new.
The only probleme is that when i sat down with it to continue my reading, it unglued again... My question now is: Is there gonna be a new print any time soon?

I'm sorry to hear that your second copy had the same issue! Let us know if your store is unable to replace it again, and we'll see what we can do to help out.

As for reprints, I'm not sure that we have an estimate for when we will have a new printing, let alone when it will be in distribution. It may be that the store you go to has part of a bad batch, so if they replace it again you may just want to test the binding a bit before you go to make sure it's a bit better.
