I just picked up my copy of the limitied edition core rulebook from the post office! Its a beautiful book but it already feels like the cover wants to fall off. It is seperating at the spine. Just wondering if anyone else go theirs yet and if they have the same problem.

I'd happily take a spineless Starfinder Core book at this point. Mine hasn't even shipped.

Yeah, im stoked on the book, but that was a lot of money for something that arrived falling apart.. i sent a message to customer service, hopefully they can replace it. If not ill gladly keep it, its just the principle, you know. With that said, the book is really nice, i hope they get the downloadable character sheets up soon.

Good luck, yea, they should replace it. I had a similar issue with my Limited Edition 3.5 D&D book back in the day. Pages stuck together because of page lining and binding coming off.
Interested to hear what response you get, or what other people's experience of the book (and potentially of complaining about the quality to customer service) is.

I sent an email to cust support and will report what i hear. Overall the quality of the book is great, it just looks like the book was glued into the cover on the endpapers only and even then not close enough to the spine to keep it stable, worst case scenario if they wouldn't replace it, i would probably put some glue between the spine and the pages and be extra careful when reading it.

Cust service was super prompt got this reply: "Hello Jasonomicon,
I'm sorry to see you got a damaged book! I have set up a replacement which should be on its way to you soon. You will be receiving an email confirmation.
Thank you for the picture, I have passed it along for quality control."
And already got the email with my tracking number!

To the best of my knowledge, and certainly within my own personal experience, Paizo's customer service has always been really responsive, efficient, and overall very awesome. I am happy to see the track record is actively being maintained here. Congratulations on the second book!
I don't know if it's from too much use, mishandling or poor quality but my Pathfinder core books fall apart fast. My first one is rebound into three books (players guide, magic guide and DMG) and I have multiple intact core rulebooks just in case. It may be the use and abuse they get because I have a similar situation with Ultimate Equipment.
