Hello Pathfinders,

soon I have the opportunity to play my first pathfinder adventure.
I'm undecided what to play and hope you could help me.

The Party will contain the following members.

bard - buffing/skills/face and a little bit of ranged combat
unchained monk - melee
summoner
sorcerer or rogue - blaster or sneaker

Commonly I like to roleplay clever and tactical characters.
The party could need a form of healing or debuffin/control I think.
I've thought about the following.

- ranged warpriest
- life spirit guide oracle
- witch with a little healing focus (hexes and potions)

What does the more experienced players think this party needs the most in an urbane focused adventure?

Ranged warpriest sounds like a good choice that won't step on too many toes.

I'd look for something melee. As is, you only have one dedicated melee person. A melee Warpriest would work good for this, just have to decide if you want to be in melee or if you want to use a reach weapon.

Warpriests make great tanks while dealing out good damage. Plus they can self heal themselves pretty easy. Plus with a bit of spell selection, they can have good combat tactical movement.

Have you looked at a Druid?
Druids are extremely flexible and would cover some of the gaps the party has.

Depending on how things shake out, Eidolon/UMonk/Rogue (and maybe even the Summoner) could end up being dedicated frontliners.

The eidolon will be indeed our dedicated meat shield. And the summoner will buff it further during the fights.

Is the druid viable in a nearly exclusive urban adventure? I know the urban druid archetype, but doesn't he overlaps with the bard face wise?
Is another archetype possible?

My biggest concern is the lack of condition removal. A life oracle could do this, but a cleric or shaman doesn't have to devote as many resources to it.

Thank you for your help so far.

Is an alchemist in this constellation viable?
He has restoration, removes and healing plus battlefield control in form of bombs. But is the healing capability as 3/4 caster enough?

The need for condition removal varies drastically by table and campaign. So, it's really difficult to say what you may need.

I can say that an Alchemist can make VERY potent poisons with a few discoveries. These can benefit everyone, especially the Rogue. Other discoveries allow you to share Extracts and throw Healing Bombs. Alchemist and Druid are 2 of my favorite classes because they are so versatile in their abilities.
