Greetings
I have a number of Paizo pawns from four different sets.
I'm after some way to organise them. Frequently I am after a generic ish pawn Town guard / undead / Demon and I'm looking for a best fit. Rifling through a jumbled two boxes isn't working.
The large monsters I have put into card sleeve folders. However I find that the medium and small monsters fall out of these far too easily. I still have no idea what to do about the gargantuan creatures.
I'm keen to hear easier suggestions for storing and retrieving them.

You should hit up your local outdoor sports supply store.. Go look at the tackle boxes.. Lots of options with adjustable size spaces and fold out openings.. Built to hold fishing lures and line and such.. They work wonders for storing little things like pawns and bases..
Depending on how much you want to spend and how ocd you want to be about separating and organizing them, anywhere from 5-6 buck upwards to 100 or more.. lol

Each box of pawns has a logo and numbering system with the critters in alphabetical order. I put them into bags in groups of 10, based on the numbering system, with the numbers marked on each baggie in sharpie. Then you just look them up on the back of the box, find the baggie you need, and pull out the critter. You can store them in the original boxes that way. Not perfect, but simple and cheap.

I use these from the Container Store to store and organize the Mediums and Smalls. I can stack 8 in each section, and I usually organize them alphabetically. There are similar containers of varying sizes that fit the Huge and Large pawns as well.

I kept the original boxes and then made little cardboard strips that I put in the boxes to make little compartments to stand the pawns in. I just measured out the width of the medium large and huge and made columns for each of them. I just put the smalls in numbered bags of ten. Then I photocopied the back of the box and put it in there as a sheet. Whenever I needed a pawn I just looked up its number on the alphabetical sheet then flipped through the numerically arranged pawns to the right one

I've tried a variety of things -- including plastic boxes from the container store and making my own dividers for the original box -- but to be honest I find it best to keep them in the cardboard "sprues" they come in. You can usually put an extra set in each "box" size release. Even if you buy every set, you can accommodate a LOT of the smaller releases. They're up to what...like ten boxes now (Bestiaries 1-6, NPC codex, Monster Codex, Inner Sea box, Villain codex)? Edit: Apparently the Bestiary 6 box isn't out yet, so nine boxes. :P

Here's a thought: Have you considered gluing the sheet to the inside of the lid? Because I hadn't, but I think I'm going to try it. :)

Use the Box pawn set box to store them. Just add cardboard dividers and each big Box has enough room for one to two more smaller sets.

These boxes fit all my pawns from 1 bestiary box and 1 AP. They are amazing and stack nicely. Everyone who has seen them has gone and purchased their own
