Looks like I know where my techno loving Android who spurns biologics is coming from. Definately a member of 'The Augmented'.
I can't wait! 40 days out and I'm dying. It's like each info drop is never enough.
I find it interesting that this article makes no mention of a Vercite race.
It does briefly in the chapter under the starship, only talks about their appearance and that they were the first to achieve spaceflight in the solar system though.
Ah, how did I miss that? Apparently their racial name is actually "Verthani". I am rather surprised that they did not make the list of the core races for Starfinder.

I think they're a near-human race, that trades either Skilled or the bonus feat for skin-changing camo, so separate stats aren't needed.
(Please note that I am not sure where I am remembering this from, so I might be full of it. Distant Worlds, maybe?)
Yeah I kind of am too, but I suppose there can only so many core races, and the ones they took from Pathfinder were probably the more memorable of the options available once you consider that they wanted to add some never before seen races. Plus I'm sure they'll pop up in the bestiary or one of the APs soon enough.

Verthani, Triaxians, the red skinned humans, those four armed giants and also the aquatic aliens... Sarcesians as well.
There are so many races that we already know but are yet to see what happened to them.

I believe that Distant Worlds said you could make a verthani by replacing one of the half-elf traits with some camouflage ability. I forget the exact specifics.
