Mythic Psionics- discrepancy?

I've been looking to upgrade some enemies for my current campaign, and in doing so I'm looking through Psionics Augmented- Mythic Psionics and I've noticed something that doesn't make sense to me.

The description for Mythic Battle Transformation (Galen's) enables the manifester to still manifest powers and grants temporary HP equal to the manifester level BUT, the power itself doesn't include this language and already grants those temp HP meaning the mythic version of this power does nothing?

I've double checked both online resources and my own physical copy of Ultimate Psionics to double check and the problem exists for both.

*Rubs chin* That does seem a bit iffy... although I'd read it as giving you twice the temporary HP, since mythic effects tend to be add-ons or changes instead of outright replacements.

Interesting. Good Catch. The text is similiar to the Transformation spell (which prevents spellcasting). -- But that particular text is indeed not in the power.

I checked the Psionics Expanded book (it's original source) and that particular text is not there either.

Given the mythic text, I would say that the original power's restriction on preventing manifesting is the oversight vs a bad reference in mythic psionics.

Is that how I should start ruling the power then?

Seems like a big oversight to be repeated so many times over, even to not be included in the original spell.

I'll have to dig through my 3.5 books and check my psionics expanded.
