Using pre-gen chronicle on new 1st level: did I do it right?

My first PFS game was with a 7th level pre-gen. I'm now trying to roll up my first real character. I saw in the PFS guide that I can apply the credit from the pre-gen to the new character I'm building, but I wanted to double check a couple things:

1) How much gold do I get to rollover from the pre-gen session? I saw in the PFS guide that I reduce the gold from the pre-gen session to 500 gp, but do I also get to sell the items discovered in the dungeon? I'm guessing not, because that seems like a crazy amount of money for 1st level. Also is that 500 gp on top of the starting 150 gp?

2) Do I get the PP earned with the pre-gen? It was 2 PP, so I was going to buy a wand of CLW if I'm allowed.

Thanks!

You get 500 gold from the chronicle and the starting 150 for a total of 650 .

Yes the prestige is applied to the new characters.

The boon you earned from the chronicle are availbe when you reach the sub tier that you played in.

The items on the chronicle are availbe to purchase if you have the gold.

You're doing great here. If you have more questions, we'd happy to answer them! Welcome to our PFS community.

This is a key point. You don't own the items on the chronicle sheet unless the chronicle gives you something as a boon. However, PFS is generious with gold so that you can purchase all your equipment -- within fame limits.

Items bought off chronicle sheets or bought with prestige (like your CLW wand) are not subject to those fame limits. The CLW wand is a great first purchase.

Flutter should also be by a little later with his guide for new Pathfinders. That might also help clarify some of the points that are confusing.

And also: welcome. it's great to have you playing in the campaign. May your time in the Grand Lodge be pleasant, and may your travels always lead you safely back there, with fine stories to report.
