Do these two spells stack?

Rules Questions

When in wild shape form could I cast both Thorn body and Vine strike on myself?

Sure. They both do different things.

they both protrude from the body though?

Doesn't matter, there is no overlap in function and that is the key to stacking.

So do all your limbs. :-)

Seriously though...
These stack fine since they are (as other stated) doing different things and don't overlap. One is based off them doing something to you, the other is you doing something to them.

... think, magic fang and barkskin, one is offence the other defense.

Not entirely, they both dish out 1D6 worth of damage offensively. Thorn body states " your natural attacks and unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d6 points of piercing damage." While Vine Strike states "your natural attacks and unarmed attacks deal an additional 1d6 points of damage"

Correct, though they still do not overlap. Vine Strike is a spell effect (SR applies to it) while Thorn Body is not.
