I actually preferred the case-of-the-week format of Season 1 to the forced-drama-character-change of Season 2 (and I was suuuuuuuuuper ticked by the <spoiler>• of Liv's relationship(s)), but I've not seen S3 (as I've only got Netflix), so that might just be a me thing.

Over-all, I highly enjoyed this series more than I thought I should be enjoying this series.

There are lots of little quirks about the show that bother me: Liv's over-exaggeration being one (though, on the other hand, it makes a certain amount of sense, as she's experiencing the impulses and nature new, for the first time, and has not had the chance to live her life under the paradigm the ones she's eaten have, so... conflicted, as noted).

I also have no idea how they're going to manage the cliffhanger for Season 2. That was... hm. ANYway...

Mostly I think I am just tired of the case of the week format for the show. It's been mostly boring of late, and usually they tend to all feel somewhat similar (a@•$$•+ victim killed by a sympathetic killer who was wronged by said victim). It also means the background plots get stretched out way way too far.
Tacticslion wrote:JoelF847 wrote: I also wasn't a fan of Liv of DnD brain rolling dice to determine what she did while not playing.
