Well then, I feel pretty much the same. ;)

Rage of worms sounded interesting this Ashes of empires thing much less so.

Just wanted to say: I'm throwing money at the screen for Greg's AP. Slumbering Tsar and Greg's work for the Lost Lands made me a true fan.
He made Xin-Shalast, and Tsar's a true gem, so yeah, I'm super-stoked to see this announcement.

I'm *also* stoked for the dragon AP, but considering that 2nd ed's coming, I'd rather have the AP when it can take full advantage of it. Just my 2 cents, of course.

I probably won't back anything for second edition for the foreseeable future. I don't want to have to do a bunch of work to convert it to the proper edition. But, the publishers have to go where the money is. Would have been nice to see this before the edition change.

I'm hoping there will be an option for PF1 version. I'm not backing anything PF2 because even if I eventually play in the new ruleset, PF1 will remain my main system for years more (the one I'll GM in).

Fair enough; everybody likes what they like. We'll be releasing the first chapter or two ahead of any Kickstarter, so hopefully you'll get a chance to get a taste of it and see whether it looks better once it's in hand than it sounded like on first glance.

The crux of the matter is that it wasn't really a choice between "Let's do Rage of Wyrms in 2019" and "Let's do Aegis of Empires in 2019."

It was a choice between "Let's do Aegis of Empires in 2019" and "Let's not do any big adventure path at all in 2019."

There was no way Robert and I were going to be able to get our Dragon AP up and rolling for this year, and Greg's project kind of dropped into our laps right around the time we were going to have a hole in the schedule anyway, and with Greg managing the heavy lifting for it so it wouldn't affect Robert or I digging out of our respective other holes to get it up and out the door.

Now that Legendary seems to be helping out with kingmaker have both Ap'S been put on the back burner?

Nope. Aegis of Empires is still trucking along in the background. I now have the PF1 manuscripts for adventures 1, 2, 4, and 5, with all of the art back for adventures 2, 4, and 5 and the coming back now for 1. Maps have been slower to get finished but are trickling in.

5E conversion on #2 has already begun (I just got the manuscript for #1 right around PaizoCon), and PF2 conversion will be starting soon. Our intention is to release at least the first adventure as a standalone volume for 5E, PF1, *and* PF2 to help build buzz and perhaps aim for crowdfunding in early fall to create a compilation mega-adventure.

As for Conquest: Rage of Wyrms, Robert and I were actually just talking about it the other day, and it's still on our agenda for 2020. 2019 is our year to clear the decks of old outstanding projects and we are closing in on a fantastic finish for those, but we've got plenty more coming your way soon!

Hi Jason,

Any news about Aegis of Empires?

Yep. We're working on 5E and PF2 conversions as we speak, and the Aegis of Empires Player's Guide is alllmost finished in layout. We're targeting October for release.

Great news! I intended to get it in PF but now that I had seen PF2, Pf2 It will be!

Looking foward for the release.

Hi all,

We are still creeping along working on this in the background. I ordered half a dozen new art pieces with the last LG art order, and Robert and I have been having some conversations as he gets ready to move to the Seattle area (which will make it easier for us to have in-person meetings).

Nothing imminent to announce, though I probably will be previewing some of the new art as it comes in on our website, but just to let you know the pot is still on the stove and has not been abandoned!

Hi Jason,

Will you print this AP or it will be PDF only? Alos is it still written by Greg, I remember seeing a different author name on a cover image or in a blog post (I don't remember where I saw it).

While I was initially glad it was made for PF1, I now have adopted PF2 and realy loving it and I'm glad you also jump in with a PF2 version.

Thanks!

Just to chime in, these are not forgotten by your audience, we are eagerly looking forward to them, especially that they are available in PF1!

Just about everything we make is available in print and PDF, save for microproducts that are just a few pages long, so yes!

The Aegis of Empires AP was coordinated by Greg. He cowrote one of the adventures, but each has their own primary author. He then took each one and edited and developed it for consistency and vision to make sure it all came together just right!

It'll be an interesting test case also to see where the 3PP adventure-buying public is currently landing in terms of their taste for big PF1 vs. PF2 adventure sagas.

Glad to hear it. Things take time, and especially doing things the right way. It's still coming along as it comes!

As summer settles in, more art is ordered and work slowly begins ramping up on this project again. Yeah, it's taken a long time to get going, but life's just like that sometimes. We've got a new batch of artwork in, a big piece of the archipelago campaign setting from the middle part of the adventure saga coming together (including new playable races/ancestries and archetypes and character options for PF1 and 5E).

Good things come to those who wait!

We'll be posting things here, on our website, and on our Discord channel!

Sounds great to me. What I've gotten from Aegis is great so far, just waiting on my Print version now.

Meanwhile I'll start setting aside some money for the Rage of Wyrms kickstarter

Do have a minor question. I'm a fan of Rite publishing's "In the company of.." line of books and I generally like to make them available to my players for a camapign. Considering that Rage is a very Dragon focused camapign, Any idea how someone using "In the company of Dragons" to play a Dragon character might fit into Rage of Wyrms or should I just say no to Dragon PCs for this one?

They haven't updated this thread or the discord for this product in almost a year. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on this product.

Oh, I'd definitely agree on not breath-holding. Once we decided to do the Corefinder project, we figured that this would be the natural first proving ground for it, so we slid it back until Corefinder itself is finished. So it goes sometimes in publishing, especially with a small company with finite resources.

That said, our new Boricubos: The Lost Isles project coming in late July/early August for PF1, PF2, and 5E is actually the first big chunk of what will eventually become Conquest: Rage of Wyrms. It sets up a regional campaign setting that will be the location for part of the adventure path, probably 2 chapters of the full AP along the way.

Building a campaign world that is actually OURS, rather than just having the adventures be placed in "generic world," is a goal moving forward, so we have to build more track before we can run the railroad.

If you're interested in the themes of Conquest, we definitely hope you'll check it out!

Aaaand Boricubos: Latin American Monsters and Adventures is live and ready for you to get your first foretaste of the Conquest to come!

This archipelago is somewhere you'll be visiting along the way to the "land across the sea" when the Conquest AP finally comes together!
