I've seen PFS and Starfinder events up on the GenCon event catalog now, but nothing for ACG. Are there not going to be any ACG events this year? That's been basically my whole weekend the past few years, I'd hate to see it go!
I've looked and looked, but I can't find any yet. There are Pathfinder events, but not Paizo PFS ones yet. If you see some, could you please post a link?

Now if only I had a badge. :P
We hope to have that resolved by the end of the week. Gen Con has not allocated the badges to Paizo yet for distribution. they have been working on correcting the delays in the schedule appearing. Now that, that issue is done, I'm sure the badges will be available soon.

With the midnight slots Paizo is now running what, 13 total slots?
Something like that. 4 slots a day. 1 slot Sunday.
I can't remember correctly, but I think each gm is not allowed to do 3 in a row now. Or it could've been a dream that I heard that.
Will have to wait and see how schedules look.

Correct, there are 13 total slots. The overnight slots are associated with the day they follow rather than the being the first of the day which is typical for Gen Con. For example, the Thursday overnight slot begins at 0200 on Friday morning and ends at 0700 Friday morning.
Originally, the thought was not to schedule anyone with more than two consecutive slots. However, considering that historically many GMs ran three slots in a day with only the overnight period off, it wouldn't be something new. Using a two "on," one "off" formula would cause the sleep window to shift each day which is probably less desirable for most. Also, as we built schedules it became apparent that no more than two in a row was very limiting and posed additional challenges that complicated other measure points like matching schedules for paired volunteers, minimizing the number of scenarios to prep, etc. So, while we are trying to limit the occurrence of three-in-a-row, we are not totally ruling it out. There will be no cases of anyone running four consecutive slots.

So.... why is Silent Tide being offered?
Go back to where it all began! The first PFS adventure!
I believe there was a promise to offer something other than the newest season to help celebrate GenCon 50
Most of the events are for last season, with several older evergreens thrown in as well. #1 Silent Tide isn't even for Pathfinder, but is for D&D 3.5 (although it may have had an "official" conversion). Wouldn't offering the first PFRPG scenario fill the "back to the beginning" vibe? I dunno.

First time truly attending. I'm not asking for guarantees, but I'm going with a small group of somewhat distinct gaming interests and planning on doing SFS/PFS in the morning and afternoon slots all weekend along with the Special Saturday night. What I'm wondering on is are there any insights for what to try and sign-up for when? My biggest interest is getting the newest PFS scenarios in and a nice chunk of the SFS scenarios in. That makes it easier to help out GMing at SkalCon for folks.

While it's great that you're so dedicated to the Paizo games, I highly recommend that you take some time to go explore the rest of the convention. The vendor room can easily take an entire afternoon to explore (and it's not open evenings). True Dungeon is worth doing at least once, just for the experience. And there's always other stuff going on.
For anyone's first Gen Con, I'll recommend that you don't spend more than half your time in the Sagamore Ballroom (Paizo's home base). You'll miss the rest of the con that way.

While I appreciate the insight we are holding the evening slots open for exploration (I have attended years ago without signing up for events). I'm thinking of doing the Killer Breakfast as well. But I'm looking for specific ideas on what slots are likely to get really full or be open in regards to PFS/SFS.

As I said, the vendor room isn't open evenings, so I'd keep one afternoon open for that. Maybe make that your afternoon activity on the day that you're playing a special in the evening, so you're not playing three sessions in a row that day (which can be tiring).
As for what fills up, get your tickets early for the multi-table specials. From past experience, I'd say you can usually get into just about any other PFS sessions on generic tickets.
The introduction of Starfinder could throw things out of whack, though. We have no way of knowing if it'll be popular enough to sell out, or how many players it will take away from PFS tables.

So.... why is Silent Tide being offered?
We always try to offer some older stuff since a large portion of our community has not played the "classics." Unfortunately, this year with all the additional new content (Starfinder) our ability to offer old skool stuff is diminished. That said, Silent Tide is widely viewed as one of the best low-tier scenarios so it's an easy choice to offer it.

Well ok then.
Thanks.
