Hide magic items in your character body

Hello guys! So, our GM is going to run new company in Dark sun setting, and there i saw a new race - half-giant and their base size is large(OMG)! So i have two real important questions about game mechanics:
-Will detect magic find magic items inside the body of my half-giant character.
-Is there any way to hide smth like bag of holding or any other extra-dimensional space in the ass of large hal-giant?
Cause as i saw in the core rules there is no way to make bag of holding smaller even for small character.

So yes detect magic would find an item hidden inside of your body unless it was surrounded by a requite quantity of one of the aforementioned things.

Stuff a bag of holding in, facing outwards.

Then stuff in a folded portable hole.

Afterwards, nobody will be able to find either of them!

More seriously, a portable hole folds up as well as a handkerchief, so you could make a quite small lead box to put it in and keep that in whatever orifice you choose, safe from detect magic and many other divinations.

Secret Box -> Shrink Item.

Should result in your focus item reducing to < 1" square piece of fabric.

Follow up with a Magic Aura spell.

Thanks you all, your advices gave me some ideas.
