Interesting uses of the Magic Warrior Archetype?

Advice

So, the Magic Warrior. It's a Magus archetype that lets you get a single feature from Beast Shape I at will. It also has some really cool flavour. It seems very obvious that the most useful thing to do with it is morph into a bird when you need to fly, but can anyone think of other cool uses of this archetype?

A link for those who don't know what the archetype does.

+2 STAR and NA sounds pretty darn good for a melee striker!

I don't think you get the NA and strength. It is a neat archetype. I think finding an animal with multiple abilities is key so that you have options when you use it. Though flight at level 3 is pretty good.

All the other perks seem to come way too late.

(Yay for necromancy, because I was curious about this Archetype)
