Attacks of Opportunity and Combat Maneuver Attacks

Rules Questions

Can a player perform a CMB during an Attack of Opportunity? Say I tripped a foe last turn and they get up and provoke. Can I perform a CMB to Disarm them? Obviously you can't trip a tripped foe, so I am asking about Disarm.
Or say if someone runs through your threatened area, can you do a CMB to Trip?

Yes. Provided the maneuver can be performed in lieu of an attack. Some, such as a grapple, are made as a standard action and not usable as an AOO.

Any combat maneuver that can be done in place of a regular attack can be used for the attack of opportunity.

There are 3 combat maneuvers that can be done in place of an attack, Trip, Disarm, and Sunder. All the rest require a standard action to attempt. There are exceptions, of course, but those require feats and/or class abilities.

awesome. i was able to do this on people and leave them basically combat incapable.

If they provoke while getting up, they count as prone for the combat maneuver, so they get -4 to CMD but can't be tripped.
