I have over 20,000 miles cross country, and God knows how many driving for my job for over twelve years.

Driving (especially heavy equipment), working with stone, and using heavy tools are what I'm best at.

I haven't been to that branch for so long, that I forgot that they closed at 2 PM. What time did I get there? Four. *sigh* Time to play more Skyrim.

Thanks, Kjeldorn.

So I'll be crawling to bed now.

Nighty night everyone!

Don't worry, when I stay awake it's because I want... and sometimes I want but I just cannot. For good or for bad, I get asleep very easily.

Edit: Damn! I didn't get the new posts until now! Last night I got asleep with a half written post xD

Yeah, worked off my anger playing Skyrim yesterday. Took Bleak Falls Barrow, killing many bandits and Draugr in the process. Went back to Whiterun in time to kill a Dragon with a lot of Arrow fire. Got named Thane of Whiterun. Scaled the highest mountain in the game to speak with the "Greybeards." Went back to Whiterun and bought a bunch of spells. Went back to the base of the mountain and wiped out a bandit lair.

Right now, I just feel sad and disappointed. Did I ever mention how much I dislike Hackers? God, I hope this wasn't done by someone I know. I don't know how I'd react to that kind of betrayal.

About to go to the bank, now. Wish me luck.

Chances are you'd have a decent idea if you knew the culprit. I was just recalling my own such experience. I knew immediately who had done it, and I contacted them to let them know that there was a problem, giving them a chance to come clean. They did not. So, I let the consequences go.

Skyrim is pretty fun. A friend was kind enough to gift me with the remaster, and I've had terrific fun trying out even the highly limited mod selection on PS4. A favourite so far is one that makes a half-giant race an option, where the character stands at eye level with the carriage drivers.

Well, when I got there at 4, it was closed. I had forgotten that the branch closes at 2 on Sundays. I have a suspicion, but that's not proof.

About Skyrim. I play on the '360. Today, I fought a Dragon that was attacking the Meadery outside of Whiterun. Turns out that Draugr gear isn't worth much. Pffft, whatever. Took Fort Greywind. Looted the bodies of those bandits and sold their stuff. And, now, I've got a Fort for myself and my Housecarl.

Skyrim is one of those games it is on my «want to play» list. At this time I don't have a PC and it doesn't seem as I'll have one soon, but I'd love to play it.

The last games I played before I moved were the Dragon Age saga and I loved them. I want to try Mass Effect too after that.

Today I am experimenting with my newly aquired Greek spices and some beef strange cuts I had. Let's see what it comes out.

I've also made a cheesecake out of Cebreiro cheese. I don't know how it will result as it is stronger than cream cheese.

That you couldn't claim an empty place and set up accommodations was one of my few disappointments with Skyrim. There was a cute little fort built around a mine south of Dawnstar, Fel something (Felhammer maybe). Just a tiny circle of stone wall with a captain's quarter's on top. I really wanted to use that as a base, but you're limited to the buyable houses in the big cities, a house you can earn on Solstheim (with the Dragonborn dlc), or three buildable houses if you have the Hearthstone dlc. Amy other place will reset if you leave long enough, which can cause the loss of items stored there.

Also, the Ancient Nord stuff is on par with Steel stat wise, but it looks a bit cooler at least. You can polish them back to a shine after certain events.

Huh my home in white run never lost my stuff. My favorite one was the arch mage tower when it reset so i could get all the alchemy goodies again. I always hated how hard it was to max out alchemy ever little bit helps.

Good Mornin/Afternoon

*cracks shoulders and back*

Man work was a killer today, I'm sore all over...

Hows everyone else doing?

Fine!!! I'm going to have a boring afternoon I think. Nothing interesting to do today.

Silver Crusade

*offers hugs*

I'm sure, you could come up with something interesting to do...

and if not you could catch a flight up here, I could always use some help cleaning for tomorrows RP session...^^

Cleaning party! It doesn't sound interesting at all xD
I still have my dishes unwashed because of lazyness.

I'll probably be finishing a couple of drawings I have unfinished. And killing some time.

I went to a fantastic beer tasting over the weekend, held at a local small brewery. They had five other breweries there. $15 got you a 4 oz souveneir glass and 12 tasting tickets (each taste cost 1 ticket). They also had live music. The highlights were the Wagner Valley Saisson, the "Hoptimus Prime" IPA from Ruckus Brewing, and the "Tarty McFly" raspberry-infused Berlinner Weisse from War Horse Brewing.

Other than getting a second-degree sunburn on my bald head, I had a blast!

First day of the year on the sun, I got a sunburn too!

The trip to the brewery sounds like lots of fun.

Sound delicious.

Must say that I personally prefer Am IPA's to European ones, in fact I find it hard to find a really good local IPA, up here in the North, as they tend to be a more subdued limey taste, then most american ones.

Edit: Half the needed cleaning done...getting lazy, might postpone the rest to tomorrow.

Pffff as if!

We both know, that you would burn the Sun with your hotness! ^^

That's probably why he wants to destroy me before.

Well, everybody. Someone's finally done it. Someone has finally pissed me off enough to want someone dead. It seems that, between Yesterday afternoon and this afternoon, someone had drained my checking account to nearly zero. Right now, I'm unable to renew my Transit pass for the week after next week, or even do laundry. There's a branch of my bank that's open tomorrow. I'll go there to try to get this resolved. Wish me luck.

Bastards.

That resumes everything >-<

So, there's a little bit of good news. I spoke to the bank and got the errant transaction narrowed down. They will block all further transactions from that source. It seems that the source had been skimming $40 from my account since June 2015. The bank will investigate. They also refunded an overdraft fee, so I've got bus money for next week.

And now, the bad news. I do know the person that's been doing this. The Pastor of the Church my Mother and I go to has a side job, selling Life Insurance. I had a policy with him, and I asked him to cancel it when my employer began offering insurance. Why pay twice for the same thing? Apparently, not only had he not cancelled the policy, but he reduced the premium from $100 to $40. And set things up so that it's done electronically, without my permission. And I have a very good memory.

I'll forgive him, of course. But I can't trust him anymore, and I no longer respect him.

Good detective work, and I can't blame you for how you feel about him now. That was totally theft.

I'm glad, that you have gotten most of this cleared up John.

It's still sad, that it turned out this way, but I concur with your assessment of the matter.

As I said before, people who abuse other people's trust just piss me off. I hope everything is solved and he is punished.

It's an uncomfortable feeling to find out you can't trust someone that you should be able to.

The houses in cities, player built houses, and the house on Solstheim are all safe. Likewise, if you visit a location frequently enough (at least one per in-game week should be sufficient), that should also prevent reset. It's just not a risk I would advise.

Yes, it is. This sort of betrayal of trust has somewhat reduced my faith in Humanity. If it wasn't for my Paizo Family, my mind would likely be in a very dark place, right now.

So I think, I'll be tuning out early today, since I feel tired so night nighty to Cal, john, Kile, Cap, Scy, Hal, Vid and who ever is lurking around here.

*Gives John and Kile quick sneaky hugs, before he retreats beneath his covers*

G'night, Kjel!

Good night, Kileanna, Kjeldorn, Limey, Sissyl, and Vid.

Dude... That's awful... And part of why as a minister-in-training I decided that I would have no side jobs like selling insurance or any other door-to-door style selling jobs. Glad things worked out (mostly) in the end though.

Still wish it wasn't him, though.

Yes, it always sucks when you know the person and you put your trust on them.

Good morning, by the way!

Good morning, again, Kileanna. :)

How are you doing? I'm about to go out for a walk before having my second breakfast xD

I made a cheesecake with Cebreiro cheese and I am eating it. I hoped it had a stronger taste but it isn't so different from the ones I do with cream cheese. At least it has a good flavor.

I don't have as many meals as a hobbit, but I try.

When I work I usually have breakfast at 6.30, second breakfast at 10.00, pick some snacks at 13.00 and have lunch at 15.30.

When I don't work I have breakfast at whatever time I wake up (usually early), go out for a walk and then have breakfast again when Dalindra wakes up, usually at 9.30. Then I have lunch at 13.30.

Today's lunch: Cauliflower in white sauce with garlic and ham.
Making the white sauce is kinda time consuming but it's a quite simple recipe.

Is it bechamel sauce? . I love bechamel sauce.

Yup.

It's one of my favorite sauces. I make kinda good croquettes too.
I hate comercial bechamel sauce (it tastes like uncooked floor to me), so I always do it at home. Most comercial brands don't use pepper and nutmeg and they have a bland taste.
A poorly made homemade bechamel can also be terrible, so I am very perfectionist when I do it.

Edit: After checking the recipe I only see two different things from how I do it. I don't use heated milk but I add cold milk in small amounts as it integrates into the sauce. And I put nutmeg too. Nutmeg is great in bechamel sauce. Depending on the use I want to give to the sauce I change the proportions of flour from 60 to 120 grams of flour per liter of milk to get a different consistency. 120 grams would be for croquettes and 60 for sauces with something in the middle for lassagna or moussaka.

Edit: The result (still has to bake).

Hello everyone! Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening!

How is everyone? Good I hope?

Had a short, but sweet workday today.
Spend most of the morning, taking school kids on tour of the stables, pens, training area and race track. Even had some of them taking horses back from pen, grooming them and putting harnesses on them.
We where actually planning on take them on a short trip, on the race track, but when there turned almost 60 some children up, we kind of realised there wouldn't be time to give everyone a trip.
