Nope, but some of my aliases are.

Think nothing of it kil., I'm just being silly and baptizing my aliases.

Although I am very envious of your regimented sleep patterns.

The bad side is that it happens even if I want to stay awake and in the most awkward places.

Your talking to someone, who has a long history of falling asleep in awkward places.
Although I think that falling asleep, in the bathroom is probably the one, that happens most often in my case.

You sleep well too, when you get that far John.

Hmm....I see our robot overlords have overtaken the thread....:D

I had a bunch of leftover kale mash, so I had to figure out some way to make it into a good lunch. This time I tried filling muffin cups with a little bit of kale mash, topping it with cheese and baking for twenty minutes so the cheese made a crispy crust on the top. It was delicious, and really changed the flavor a lot. I still have a ton of leftovers to use up though, so I'll have to think of some other ways to use it on future days. :)

I wonder if you can freeze them, then thaw them as needed. Wait, ... Oooh, I know. Use them as Pierogi fillings. :)

Ooh! That would be perfect! I could practice pasta making on something that the rest of the family wouldn't have to eat and if it turned out it would really be the perfect filling! Great idea! Thanks. :)

The benefits of having worked in a restaurant. Ideas come easy. I already found the recipe for the pierogi dough for you. Make as many that will use up the Kale Mash, and freeze in Zip-loc bags. Six per bag should do. Separate them with wax paper.

Good night still awake people on other side of the pond.

Now I wish we had a pond.

Well, that's why you have kids.

Starts distributing shovels.

I'll have to use a gluten free pasta recipe instead. Still allergic to wheat. :)

But at least this gives me an excuse to experiment with it. I have several different recipes, so it's really just about choosing the right one. And if it works well, then I'll be able to make all kinds of things that I couldn't before. :)

Tonight I'm making chicken curry. Not very inspiring curry either. Lazy curry. But I only have to cook for myself this time, so no need to go all out for one. But this is my last dinner for just me for the foreseeable future. Once the boys are done with black belt camp, then it's back to normal dinner schedules. The good thing is that this means the kidlet will be eating less junk food. The bad is that I will have less opportunities for some of my favorite foods.

Sorry about that, I forgot. Serve with Keilbassa / Smoked Sausage and a side of Baked Beans.

You could also use the Kale Mash to stuff boneless Pork Chops.

Another good idea! If I don't use that one this time, I'm sure I'll make kale mash again in the future, so I'll keep that one in mind to try later. :)

Lazy curry was particularly uninspiring. Could have had some good Thai curry for about the same amount of effort and it would have tasted much better. Oh well, can't win them all.

Not bad when we bounce ideas off each other, are we?

I'd say it works out pretty well. :)

Well, since activity has slowed considerably, I can only conclude that everyone is either asleep or getting ready for bed. Good night everybody.

I'm around, just doing various other things. If you're around, I'm up for a bit of a chat.

Yeah, still here. At least until about 11:50, when I close up the garage to go home. Anything interesting going on?

Not really. As you know, I'm the primary GM in our group, running about 99% of the games (PF only). One guy is running a Call of Cthulhu/Vampire: The Masquerade mashup, which is fun but odd... lol. But the big excitement is when he finishes that we're going to be running DC Heroes again. I can't wait to play a supers game again. The most fun I ever had as a player comes from a 12 year long DC campaign.

*sigh* I really miss being in a gaming group. My last group disbanded when the GM began Transitioning. The only gaming I've done since then was at the anime convention I volunteer for. And that's me being a GM. I haven't been a player in years. *sigh*

I haven't been just a player in decades.

That's too bad. It really is. I've gone for a year or two with never getting to be a player. It got old and I got burned out. I let two good campaigns die on the vine because of the brain burn.

What's holding you back from getting in a group now? Just too busy with real life?

Not really. My weekends are still free. Especially Saturdays. Its just that the local game shop I frequent no longer advertises game groups.

Oh, that's too bad. Have you tried meetup.com? I'm fortunate to have been with my players for over 20 years, even over 30 in a couple of cases, so I've never had to look for a new group, except for one year I lived in St. Louis.

Warhorn is a website everyone apparently uses for that now. :-)

Hmm...never heard of it. I'll pass it along to a friend of mine looking for a group.

I could try those sites. I don't drive, so any group will have to be within the city and near a bus line. I would like to try getting in on a PbP game, but those slots seem to go quickly.

I tried PbP, and absolutely sucked at it. I only lasted about 3 sessions before I realized I needed face to face interaction to be able to play. I couldn't make decent decisions and my character died an embarrassing, mud covered death.

I can't do PbP for reasons.

Reasons for which I'm sure you'd kill to keep secret.. lol

And I've played with my group so long I'm not sure I could easily integrate into another. A friend wanted to start up a PFS game and my anxiety kicked in where being around strangers is concerned and I dreaded it. It never got off the ground, and though I wanted to play it, I was kind of relieved.

You can have a slot in my game, but it's an oddball game and might or might not be your cup of tea. :)

Dyslexia mostly. Written communication is not my strong suit. :-)

Ah, my brother has dyslexia. He finally quit gaming with us last year after years of struggling through the maths and rules. I miss his being in the circle; he always played the most interesting characters.

I don't have a problem with math, I'm all about f@&+ing up words and sentences or getting ahead of my-squirrel!!-self and omitting words and/or sentences.

LOL. As my depression and other issues progress I find myself getting worse where my spelling, my grammar, and my syntax are concerned. I sometimes leave out words or whole sentences when trying to write something. Makes texting interesting. Sometimes I have to send the same text twice just for it to make sense.

Is it play by post? If it's real-life and you're not in Pittsburgh, I'll have to decline.

Well, I hate to put a lid on the night, but my night time meds are starting to chisel away at my consciousness. I think I'm going to get ready for bed and turn in. Good night, guys!

Yeah, PBP. It's Tales of Agartha: the Avalon Chronicles. Six years in and still rolling along. :)
