Stats for the races

General Discussion

So are the stats for the old races the same, or have there been modifications made? If so, are you going to ever post them, or would you rather us find out by buying the book?

They are probably different, as if they were the same everyone would be a kasatha as they are about twice as powerful as the other races.

Kasatha master race. All hail hail 4 revolvers.

ALL HAIL AT LEAST 12000 GOLD BADLY SPENT!

They will likely have new stats, otherwise, see above.

Kasatha and Ysoki are equally powerful in my opinion, Kasatha because op (that is legitimate reason), and ratfolk for one reason and one reason alone: Their Swarming racial ability.

That Swarming ability is worthless if there is only one ratfolk in the party, assuming that that ability is unchanged from Pathfinder.

Which is why you COLLABORATE with your fellow party members :3

Example, two members of your party are best friends irl and think extremely similarly. Let them roleplay Ysoki brothers. It'll be fun. Trust me. Nothing can go wrong with two Ratfolk mechanics running around...

Just change the swarming trait to activate with any ally and watch the rogue revolution. Operators operating in Sneak Attack operations occurring at a table near you!

... i expect a lot of changes to racial abilities though. The team has to know about the dangers of quad wielding Kasatha already and the baseline for the game must either remove that ability or account for it. i suspect the itreative rules have changes since we saw two characters (one using a spell and one using a melee attack) change their number of attacks based on single or full round action. the defualt might be something akin to "no extra attacks without a feat due to the amount of mental focus it take to do an action" in effect codifying hands of effort in core rules.

God, i hope some of these unwritten Pathfinder rules are actually written out this time!
