I am trying to make a Gunslinger Musket Master with a religious theme.
I am torn between taking a level of Cleric or a level of Warpriest for my Gunslinger of Shelyn.
Never played a full Gunslinger before, so I am unsure which would be better.
From what I'm looking at its:
Cleric -
Luck domain, Conversion Inquisition
Able to buff (via bit of luck and useful all round)
Wis to Intimidate, Diplomacy and Bluff (Combos well with Larger then Life trait for a Intimidate skill build)
Warpriest -
Air Blessing and Luck or Good(?)
Weapon Focus
Able to shot from really far away
Able to AVOID AOOs (Which is usually via Point Blank Master, for fighters and rangers)
More damage via good, or a little buffing via luck
Basically, one is much better in some social skills and can buff, while the other is more combat focus....
Why can't I have both... T_T
Is there a better way to make this work?

Warpriest- as you get free Weapon Focus, and you can treat your musket as a Sacred weapon and get a bonus to damage.
If you go Warpriest, Good would be giving your more damage to Evil creatures [which you will probably fight a lot of], where Luck only gives you a "roll twice, take better" several times a day.
Unless you plan on being the face of the party, it's moot.

You don't need to cast divine spells to be a religious character. You can have your Gunslinger take ranks in Knowledge (Religion) (or possibly Lore (Shelyn) if your campaign is using the Background Skills alternate rules), say prayers when appropriate, and otherwise try to uphold Shelyn's tenets as he continues his journey.

I would focus on one spell caster class. I myself has a pistolero 5/ Inquisitor 3+
But if you want to mix it up the Warpriest says "If a warpriest also has levels in a class that grants cleric domains, the blessings he chooses must match the domains selected by that class."
Inquisitor gets domain like a cleric, so you have to match it with the blessing chosen.
