Getting in early with Starfinder problem orders

Hi CS people

I ordered a bunch of Starfinder things and wanted it all to ship as soon as possible. Presumably, it will release around the same time as a subscription run, but just in case I selected a shipping option.

It then broke everything into seven different packets (so I had to select shipping seven times). On the odd chance that some of them are shipped outside the regular subscription schedule, will your computer be clever enough to piece such preorders together? The confirmation page seemed to suggest it was going to send each of them individually. I want it as soon as possible, but $312 shipping will test my resolve!

I had the same thing happen. My order is 4205816 -- the system wanted to ship *everything* separately and that accrued some mighty depressing shipping and handling charges. So, I side-carted most of it in hopes that CS could help me out. I'd much rather just get all those August 2017 Starfinder goodies in one shipment, for a more reasonable shipping charge.

I was wondering about that when I ordered two Starfinder products and two pocket edition Pathfinder books. I went looking in vain for some way to set the default shipping method to "Sidecart It" before going back and changing all of those settings individually.

Hi Steve!

Thanks for letting us know! I'm not sure why it's doing that, but I've given the items a shove into a new order (#4206372) and you should be getting a new confirmation email any minute. Just let me know if anything looks wrong, and I'll be glad to get it adjusted. Otherwise, you should be all set for now!

Thanks for notifying us! It looks like the pawns are still in their own order, but everything else is currently in your sidecart. Would you like to leave them in there to ship with your August subscriptions (except the pawns), or move them to a separate order? If you want them in a separate order, I can make sure that the system doesn't try to put them all in separate shipments again. Just let me know what you'd like to do, and I'll take care of it.

If there are any questions you may have in the meantime, fire away!

Hi,

So my preorder did the same thing (splitting up into two orders with separate shipping) I believe it's 4173293, but i've been wrong before.

Can't wait for Starfinder!

Edit: Also, if you could have that go out with my regular sub, that would be awesome, have a great weekend!

I'd prefer to get all the Starfinder items in the same shipment please, and not as part of a subscription fulfillment. So I think that means a new order...

Thanks very much Katina. Good choice with the shipping too - unfortunately UPS won't ship to a PO Box. :(

I somehow neglected to order enough Character Folios. Can you add another five to that order for me? Or would you prefer I order them myself and then ask you to merge it?

Sorry about that! It's starting to sound like this is a problem in our system that the tech team is looking into, but it should be taken care of soon. As for your items, they do all seem to be in your sidecart, so just let me know if you would like them moved.

I've moved your preorders into your sidecart, and you should be able to see them pending there in your account. (I can't send a confirmation email from the sidecart.)

Well, for your first request, that's no problem! I've upped the quantity to 6, and I'll send ya another confirmation email in just a second.

I'm not 100% sure about making August be today. I'll see if I can round up enough material components to get the ritual started, but I wanted to ask if you'd like to take a stopover in May so you can still come to PaizoCon?

No problem -- I was just a little unhappy with the degree of manual effort required to get things the way I wanted. Fortunately, this problem did not crop up at the same time you were selling that last batch of individual minis. THAT would have been painful!
