While the Dominion of the Black doesn't have anything to do with Strange Aeons really... adventures are in my opinion the BEST place to get story ideas for running your own homemade adventures. I've been using adventures in this capacity for decades, taking an encounter from one, a plot from another, a map from a third, an NPC from a fourth, and so on, using them as supplementary material to build adventures of my own. It's a great way to not only save time in building a homemade adventure, but I find that the more adventures I read from people who come at the game from different backgrounds or interests or viewpoints or skill levels, the better my own adventure design gets. To eschew adventures as a source for story ideas is doing your game a great disservice.
That bit over, and I'm not sure "cannot buy the books" means "can't buy any books," but if I had to pick only one book we've published that contains the most information overall about the Dominion of the Black, that'd be part 4 of Iron Gods, "Valley of the Brain Collectors."
And now, THAT bit over, I'm sure that folks will have PLENTY of cool ideas for stories relating to the Dominion of the Black and the Dark Tapestry on this thread soon. I can start:
Have the PCs come across a small town that's in the grips of a plague or disease. Turns out, the disease itself is an alien weapon that is intelligent and capable of choosing who it infects, can "dodge" attempts to cure it, and if enough people get sick enough, can cause them to melt together into a single large manifestation of protoplasmic bioweaponry. You can use any ooze monster for this encounter, of course, or design one of your own creation, but the PCs should eventually discover that the disease itself first came after a local astronomer "caught" the disease by studying a specific spot in the heavens. Turns out, in between his telescope and the stars he was studying was a vector for the disease that spreads via being observed, and in order to stop this from happening, the PCs need to find a way to reach the low-orbit unseen vector and destroy it before it can finish gathering enough power from those who perish from the disease to become fully visible to all in the sky and thus begin infecting millions of those who have the unfortunate luck to merely look up as it passes overhead...

...and you can buy the entirety of the Iron Gods AP (and a TON of other stuff) on PDF for just $15 via the Humble Bundle linked over there on the left.
(Well, at least until the day after tomorrow...)

OP check out this excellent mod. I used this as inspiration for an awesome end to a campaign

You could do something with the Osirian countdown clocks and Aucturn. Aucturn is the planet farthest from Golarion's sun, full of horrific alien abominations and Dominion emissaries, along with the planet possibly being alive. Archeologists have found large pillars in Osiriani tombs, counting down to a date not far off in the future.
