Question About Sidecarted Items...

I just placed a order to ship with my next subscription order. I did not see a option to use store credit...which I want to do.

Did I miss something? Can you change it?

Hello John,

You did not miss anything. When you add an item to your sidecart you will not get the payment method screen, which is where the option to use store credit is. This is because your subscription order will be using the payment method attached to the subscription so the item will use that payment option as well. If you want to use store credit on an item in your sidecart you can do so in one of 2 ways.

The first is by setting your subscription to use store credit. If you do this when your sub order is generated it will use as much store credit as is available and then use your payment method for the difference.

The second is to let us know how much store credit you want to use when you receive the order confirmation email and we can set the order to use that store credit manually.


Yeah my subscriptions are all ready set to store credit...but it seems like my card was charged for the items when I submitted the order.

Hi John,

Anything showing up on your card at this time should just be a temporary authorization that will expire from your account, as we do not finalize charges until items are processed for shipping.
