Tiefling and Aasimir Suggestions

Advice

Sovereign Court

I'm looking for suggestions for an Aasimir and Tiefling build, right now I thinking of a Bladebound Tiefling Magus, but its not definitive, and not sure really what would be fun to play.

I currently have a Kitsune Fighter going to Hell Knight, a Sylph Rogue Unchained, a Barbarian Unchained, and a Human Gun Slinger Musket Master.

any suggestions are welcome

You have the requisite race boon, yes?

I am playing a tiefling Morphic Savant myself. I am finding though that it's more like I'm playing an Eidolon with a summoner sidekick.

Tieflings are ideal for Alchemists, and especially Grenadiers.
Swift action, retrieve an alchemical item from your inventory, slap it on there, and go boom. Their favourite class bonus is also insane, adding half a damage to their bomb damage. That really increases their damage output, and also their minimum splash damage. Going with the bow and arrow option really increases your damage output as well.

The Exchange

Answer unclear, ask again later (with more detail). Are you looking for general ideas, what "mechanically" works well for one of those races, or a good "theme" fit?

Because Aasimars have no negative ability score modifier they can be very effective in absolutely any class. Tieflings are almost as good, though there are some classes that are "suboptimal" for them.

Themewise Aasimar make great paladins and tieflings are often (neutral) clerics of evil gods. Or you can flip that on its head and have one who rejects her heritage and embraces its opposite. Tranquil guardian is an aasimar-only archetype for paladin with a unique focus on peace and non-violence. If you like casters (and prestige classes) a tiefling is a great diabolist.

Shadow Lodge

Been toying with a teifling 'darkness' rogue..build towards See in Darkness, Umbral Gear x2 and look for ways to keep darkness up.

Grand Lodge

If you're going for tiefling magus, you might as well add Fiendflayer archetype since it stacks with every other magus archetype.

Shadow Lodge

Tieflings make Great Paladins too with the +1 HP Regained from LoH

not necessarily a "theme" to them, I mean the Holy Warrior aspect does kinda get worn out, and seems to be over done, and I mechanically Aasimars are kinda universal at many things, I guess really when it comes down to it maybe something that is odd but functions?

as for the Tiefling, currently with the setup on Magus Dervish Dance blade bound build, though Alchemist does sound like it would be fun, the Darkness rogue...I like my rogues and always will but maybe stepping away from it some helps, *mumbles something about stuck in ruts* but I do appreciate the input, and Kevin maybe that gives you a bit more what you were asking for?

There is a rogue archetype in Blood of Shadows where you get the ability to cast darkness and deeper darkness with the ability to see through it.
