Did an undead NPC lost or keep "pallid vector" template?

Rules Questions

I love Villain Codex, it's a wonderful book. But I have a doubt about "pallid vector" template.
Doesn't specify that a creature with this template, when he dies and lately rise as undead, retain or lost this template (and the related abilities bonus and special attacks). For example: if a 8th-level NPC with this template die and rise as a vampire, can he keep the natural armor bonus, stench and disease attacks and ability bonus (Str +2 and Wis +2)?

I'd say since pallid vector is added to a living creature, you'd probably normally replace it with vampire. Honestly, you could do it the other way if you want to, but when adding multiple templates onto the same creature, you can wind up with weird situations like being really low on hp/HD for its CR, so you might not want to. You could try some kind of ninja juke combined template though like replacing the vamp's create spawn with the disease from pallid vector.
