I just wanted to drop in a quick word about the latest from Tripod Machine, Yokai Races.
This book contains:
Hengeyokai - magical animals that take on human form
Kodama-hanyou - mortal descendents of woodland spirits
Korobokkuru - secretive and short in stature, but stalwart
Obake-hanyou - scions of a shapechanging bloodline
Oni-hanyou - children of the oni
Suijin-hanyou - descendents of great water spirits
Feel free to ask me any questions, here or on the product's page.

I made something like your Oni-hanyou and Kitsune using a tiefling template. I will pick this up someday...
The thing that I was most proud of was that I had the Oni-blooded have the shillelagh cantrip, except that it turned the affected item into a tetsubo (visually of course, no change in stats)! ^_^

That is a nice touch. My oni-hanyou are more associated with the glaive, like the oni ogre mage. On reflection, I decided that the usual sort of tetsubo wielding bridge oni was probably just an ogre, or at least, something different than the oni in the MM.

In terms of MM entries, yes. I was going more for the blanket oni for legend and lore for the PC race option. (My biggest inspiration was the story of Momotaro.) I plan to pick this up if not to use, at least to support the independent content creators for 5e! ^_^
I do have a one of my own on the DMs Guild, that is pay what you want, if you'd like to peruse it!
Have a good one!

Can we have a really good quality 3pp for an oriental adventure setting with Samurai (I know there is a class), shigenja, tattooed monks etc with the classic monsters. I was a huge fan of the L5R products and would love to see 5e take some of this on.
Does the license do Gamesmater Guild extend to the Kara-tur part of the forgotten realms?

Depends what you mean by good. If you mean true to Legend of the Five Rings, I don't know. My samurai is an amalgamation of various Samurai tropes, and a bit of history/traditionalism. I think it might not scratch your itch, as it is a little lower powered.
I think you might like some of the stuff on the DMs Guild, as there are a couple of popular conversions. Anyway, it might be worth checking out.
Best of luck!
