Wizard spell that neutralizes enemy Darkvision?

Advice

Hi All.

I was curious if there are any Wizard spells that either temporarily or permanently diminish or neutralize an opponent's Darkvision capability. I hoping there's a spell solution that's from 1st to 6th level that can accomplish this (for a 11th level wizard).

Paizo spells from any book are preferred. But I'm also open to Pathfinder 3PP spells. If the latter, please advise what book-&-publisher they come from ..... or if they are linked on d20pfsrd.

Thanks so much!

I think Deeper Darkness can cover this.

EDIT: Also Deafness/Blindness can permanently blind a person, including those with darkvision.

Ah yes. Deeper Darkness is already part of my wizard's schtick via a spell-list addition (custom PrC). Sorry I didn't mention that, Link2000.

Is there perhaps a spell that specifically targets an enemy, or a group of enemies, or an area-effect that effects beings (not objects) ... that neutralizes/diminishes Darkvision? Maybe even as a side-effect?

Deeper Darkness isn't a Wizard spell. Blindness will work.

So will Shadowmind if the light conditions are partial darkness or darkness.

Honestly did not know that... Weird that wizards can cast regular darkness though.

Baleful Polymorph might work just for fun if they fail the 2 saves (they lose all extraordinary abilities).

Wow. Shadowmind. That's terrific! Thank you.

Also, I'm gonna see about doing spell research to get the Mental Block spell added to the Wiz/Sorc spell list. The target loses all Extraordinary abilities like Darkvision (as Link2000 pointed out) until it makes a save [target gets 1 save per round].

Glitterdust - 10ft burst, will save or be blinded. Save at the end of each round until you succeed or the spell expires.

Also negates invisibility and drops a huge penalty on stealth checks (the sniper taking pot shots at our party did not fare too well after he rolled a -16 on his stealth check).

How does it work? People can't look into it and if they're inside of it they still can't see?

burst of radiance. Bonus damage to evil creatures.

I present... night blindness. If your party can function in darkness, or at least dim light, this is a good way to obliterate your opponent.

I like both of the Night Blindness and Shadowmind spells as they have great potential IMHO.

But if the caster stays inside it, they can see just fine, when even someone with darkvision cannot.

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for, but obscuring mist works just as well on darkvision, but I got the sense you want something different

If you want to play it safe, just use Sleet Storm.

Not only does it block darkvision, it blocks See in Darkness. It is my goto spell of choice on my magus for shutting down other casters.
