Seconded, GM Beenorg.

I'm not very good at expressing myself and my feelings. Princess Leia was one of the few princesses of that era that didn't just sit there and wait for their prince charming to rescue them.

She showed us that girls can be leaders and kick @ss. We don't need to wait for guys to make things happen...

Thank you, Carrie.

Hell she rescued them!

Into the Garbage Chute Flyboy!

Damn f@&*ing stupid s*#&-sucking 2016:

People.com: "Debbie Reynolds Rushed to Hospital Due to Possible Stroke..."

Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher's mother, has just died.

Sad, but not all that surprising under the circumstances. Stress can do that especially at her age.

This is insane

Debbie Reynolds, actress, singer, dancer, humanitarian, a star in her very own right. Passed away the day after her daughter Carrie.

Lads give your mom a call and tell her you love her.

Baron,

I don't have to call mine. I live with her. I do tell her I love her when I'm not mad at her for yelling me for forgetting to put out the trash.

I live with my mother as well. I tell her I love her every day as I leave for work.

Somewhere beyond the stars, Carrie Fisher and Leonard Nimoy are having one hell of a conversation.

I love my mom. But she can be so annoying sometimes.

On a side note:
Between MSN and CNN, they named 185 people in the world of Entertainment, News, Sports and Politics who died during 2016.
Since there were names that appeared on one list but not the other, it is possible there are more that were not noted.
(Also, it was probably limited to people who were known in the US, other countries may have different lists.)

I love my mom, but I have an irrational impulse to ignore whatever advice she gives.

Tried to add this to my post above, but Paizo went kablooey.

Tell your mom you love her every day. You never know when she will no longer be there.

One of the painful things about living as one whose made a self dedication to disciplined thought, is that I can no longer believe in such fantasies, no matter how much I desperately want to.

It's not necessarily irrational just "I don't believe it!" kind of thing.

Drah,

Try living with this thought: You can't prove a negative if you can't prove a positive without it.

It's possible that Fisher and Nimoy are still out there in some form, but their time manifesting in this particular brane is over (for now, at least). So, perhaps they are still conversing in some fashion, sipping swigs of monstrous moonshine from a Klein bottle.
