Traitor's Lodge in specific:
The party is given a bunch of short-term buffs that most parties would agree is in a good sense to use upon entry into the Lodge, which then puts an artificial timer on the entire scenario beyond the internal timer.

Traitor's Lodge is one of these, Trial by Machine is another (especially at low tier). Those are quick ones straight off the top of my head. I'm sure there are plenty of others out there that it would be detrimental to rest because really bad things happen if the party does.

Oh, right!

Even the evergreen Confirmation and Wounded Wisp play into this at a second glance..
