A Spirit Dancer or Rivethun Channeler can cover multiple bases in a single day, but only while spending Spirit Dance rounds -- which means that most of the time they can't cover any role too well.
Still, I could see this class being useful for PFS or other campaigns where you never know from one session to the next which party roles will be covered at all by the other players. The Medium is a very strong example of "jack of all trades, master of none".
The rounds per day works great for combat. The problem is out of combat stuff. Using diplomacy takes 1 minute minimum. That means if you need to turn on trickster for a diplomacy you better have 10 rounds AND not care that you just blew 10 rounds.
Need to cast lesser restoration twice on someone and channel twice to heal the party? That's 8 rounds, OUT of combat. In addition to the 3 rounds you spent in combat since the party is so good. These archetype basically let you cast a long term buff or two on yourself and then channel the champion in combat.
Now if it was 1 minute instead of 1 round per activation then it goes well. You start with 4 minute instead of 4 rounds. Go up minutes as you level. Now if you need to do the diplomacy or the healing it's only using 1 of your times per day instead of like all of them.

Medium Spirit Dancer ability Dance of Infinite Forms -> best Lv20 ability of the system.
Even the vanilla medium is terrifying at level 20; it's among the best capstones in the game, and sadly wholly irrelevant since playing the game at the highest levels is more work than it is fun.
