you can get that with the universal mythic path: legendary item with the ability: intelligent t least twice and choose spell casting as the secondary ability and with the (times you take spellcasting)x5 points you get choose "Chord of Shards"
So, first the DM has to agree that I can be Mythic...
I grab 'Legendary Item' for my 1st tier ability...
Choose a violin that does Chord of Shards, and I'm good?
Also, I see that Chord of Shards has it's own "Mythic" description... So, do I used that version of the spell instead?
Thanks for the advice :) I've never delved into the "Mythic" stuff before. Sounds interesting.

Craft Wondrous Item.
Masterwork musical instrument as the base item: 100 gp. Chord of shards as an unlimited "command word" (play specific chord/note/sequence during a bardic performance) item: 1 (spell level) x 1 (caster level) x 1,800 gp x 2 (no space limitation) = 3,600 gp. Total market price is 3,700 gp.
Of course, the save DC is only 11. Using Heighten Spell can increase the DC, but makes the item more expensive: 2nd-level spell (DC 13) is 28,900 gp, 3rd-level (DC 14) spell is 75,700 gp, etc.

Alternately, you can use Craft Staff (with the GM's permission), allowing the bard to apply their own caster level (no difference with chord of shards) and Cha bonus (increasing the save DC) to the spell.
Market price 100 gp (base item) + (800 gp x 1 x 8) = 100 gp + 6,400 gp = 6,500 gp.
This item follows the staff rules (holds up to 10 charges, can recharge 1 charge per day, etc.).
