need magus advice

so I am going to build a teifling magus my stats are 9,11,12,12,16,10
I wanna build him specialising in my spellstrike.

I was thinking of taking a 3 lol dip into uc rogue so I can get the finesse abilities for a rapier. and the magus would be a hexcrafter.
am I on the right track or are there better routes out there?

Take a dip in Swashbuckler with the Inspired Blade archetype. You get some nice defensive deeds, a decently-sized panache pool, free weapon finesse and weapon focus for rapiers, and you can take fencing grace and get dex to damage on your rapier easy peasy. You only delay your spellcasting by one level that way, and you get an extra point of BAB

go full magus, use a scimitar, take weapon finesse & 2 ranks in dance, and go for dervish dance. it's pretty much the same but with scimitars.

caster should not dip.

magus hexcrsfter is amazing.
go dex build, great saves, ac and all around actions.
your stat are bad.... can you lower the 12 to 10, and up the other 12?

Also, anything that saves you from dipping into other classes is worth it since spell casters depend on their class levels for spell levels to stay competitive. How were your stats determined? i am not sure i would have gone Magus with that sort of array.

Pure Magus beats a rogue dip any day.
