Ring of Death Ward?

Formula for continuous magic items (for spells with minute/level durations) is spell level * caster level * 4000 gp

Let's assume a level 7 cleric is making it. As a 4th level spell the price works put to be 112000 gp. Sound fair?


Would a lvl 7 character even have the 56K gp necessary to make this?

If we stick to the formula, the result is right, I just wonder where the formula is from.

CRB Magic Item Creation. Plus, it can be made any level with an optionally lowered caster level if nees be.
