I love the products that Kobold Press puts out, especially their Pathfinder stuff and I always want more. So with that in mind I thought I would share my Wish List of new products I would like to see and encourage others to share theirs as well.

1. Pathfinder version of Tome of Beasts.

2. New Paths Compendium Expanded. I would love to see New Paths Compendium expanded to include the new classes that have been released by Kobold Press as well as the Alternate Classes from the Kobold Quarterly magazines. This would make a great Kick Starter and could really compile and expand the Kobold Press class content.

3. Book of Templates. On the Kobold Press website and in their books there are a bunch of templates that didn't appear in Tome of Beasts, it would be great to see a book templates or a Tome of Beasts 2 would be fantastic as well.

4. An equipment book compiling all the gear and magic items.

5. A sentient lands book or pdf exploring the idea of a sentient land like the Old Margreve, providing rules for such places, and providing details on other locations on Midgard.

I'll add more as I think of more.

Second Brinebeast's suggestion Number 5. Could be a great idea for a publication from KP using a less oft used book theme, covering dark living forests, sacred groves (tapping into the world tree?), accursed valleys, fey gardens, dreamscapes, living glaciers, malevolent wastes, the list goes on.

Great list!

I especially like #2! :)

Keep the ideas coming!

Hey, I like this thread!

I'd like to see a list of the templates that we need. Because the Advanced Bestiary from Green Ronin covers a LOT of ground in that direction already, and it would be a shame to duplicate effort.

I also have a wish list (starting with more hours in the day to make it all happen!).

Maybe:

1) A sequel to the Cat & Mouse adventure in the Southlands
2) More pawns for Kobold Press monsters (wait, no, did those already)
3) A series of one-shot encounters set in Midgard
4) A mega-dungeon under Zobeck
5) More ghouls

Speaking as a 5E fan, I'd love to see The Lady of White Rose Manor web features expanded into a full adventure and sold in pdf and print versions. Okay, fine, if I'm 100% honest, I'd probably only buy the pdf, but I'd love see it collected and published. :)

A mega-dungeon under Zobeck would be excellent! Also, more ghouls!

Pathfinder Tome of Beasts

Dwarves of Midgard

New Path Compendium 2, with maybe more archetypes and such using some of the newer Pathfinder books options, and overall just more variation

Oh, nice!

What about a newly expanded and updated New Path Compendium, featuring everything you listed, PLUS the current classes and options ... and maybe even a bunch of brand-new classes and options ... maybe even as an awesome, full-color hardcover!

Hey, a boy can dream :)

Kind like Paizo's Inner Sea Gods ... that would be pretty cool, actually!

Dwarves of Midgard already exists as Dwarves of the Ironcrags, but I wouldn't complain if there was an expanded book on the subject, same with and expanded book on the Principality of Morgau and Doresh that details even more than the Imperial Gazetteer does.

I'm a sucker for books that cover lore, culture, religion, and customs so a Midgard Deities book would be right up my alley.

Basically, if Kobold Press puts it out, I'll buy it. There are a few companies that I know when they put something out it is going to be top quality and won't hesitate to support/buy their products - Kobold Press is one of those.

Also, just some food for thought as to why we need a giant class book Kick Starter.

We got the Campaign Setting

We got the Giant Magic book

We got the Giant Race book

We got the Giant Monster book (still need it in Pathfinder rpg)

We don't have a Giant Class book

Could also use a combined gear/magic item/feat book.

I'd have a lot of fun with a Wasted West anthology really delving into the ruins and aftermath of the war there. A Tales of the Glyph Stair

I feel compelled to point out that some of those are already in the New Paths Compendium (white necromancer, shaman, spell-less ranger, etc.) but otherwise great list!!

Yep, I am fully aware that those are in New Paths as I am a proud owner. However, a new New Paths that kept the stuff from the first one and expanded to include a whole lot more, and was in Hardback and full color, that is what I would really like to have.

Well, that and Tome of Beast in Pathfinder edition. :-)

How did I not see this thread before? :D

Since Midgard is my default setting right now, I have a lot of wishes:

1) Tome of Beasts for PF
2) Castle Shadowcrag mega-dungeon
3) New Paths Expanded
3a) Gearforged-oriented Wizard alternate class (or two)
3b) More Spell-less Ranger archetypes
3c) Expanded Shadowsworn
3d) More scaling feats
3e) Margreve Witch archetypes
3f) Midgard prestige classes
3g) Death Knight class for ghouls :)
3f) Warlock class
4) Elves!
5) Adventure collection set in Thorn ruins (something like adventures in Myth Dranor, please)
6) Dwarves!
7) Large printable map of Crossroads (perhaps as a desktop wallpaper?)

The Exchange Kobold Press

The Death Knight class for ghouls is suddenly on my list as well! :)

Elves and Dwarves merely await an interested freelancer.

Crossroads map is in progress as we speak. The others.... We'll see, some great stuff in there, all we lack is money and time or we'd do them all.

Dark Archive

I find myself regretting the fact that English is my second language :D

Tome of Beasts for PF

More of the quality classes you've been publishing (The Trickster and the Priest knocked it out of the ballpark). Maybe a hardback with the original classes you've already published along with a half dozen or more added to it.

Although Rogue Genius Games did a wonderful job (IMHO) with the Time Thief and Time Warden, I'd like to see a Kobold Press workup of a Chronomancer and its attendant archetypes.

Your English is fine, in fact it is much better than most native English speakers. :)

That is a great list! I would definitely like to see all of those happen and would gladly support a Kickstarter for pretty much anything Kobold Press wanted to put out.

As for me, I tend to buy books when published, since I try to support local gaming stores (we don't have them nearly enough here). My players pitch in with pdfs.

Midgard Adventure Path (the one that was supposed to be a kickstarter goal for Deep Magic)

More adventures, PF versions of 5e adventures, PF revisions of leftover 3e patron projects (Castle Shadowcrag, Brass&Steam, Blood of the Gorgon).

More detailed gazeteers for Midgard regions (similar to Northlands or Tales of the Old Margreve).

New Player's Guides would be very appreciated. Anything new on that front?

I've got a couple Midgard-themed adventures in my pocket I could slam out. There's also one kicking around the Kobold Press slushpile.

I have some ideas for a mega-dungeon under Zobeck too!

There are excellent suggestions in that thread, and much to my liking.

What I would really like is for all of Kobold Press Midgard products to be converted to 5e D&D.

...

Ho, wait : did the deities of Midgard hear my pleas ?

Praised be Loki ;-) !

A sourcebook focused on the elves of Midgard might be cool, particularly on the extraplanar spaces of the Elflands and Shadow Realm.

I would second a mega dungeon....and the Tome of Beasts and Book of Lairs for PF. Most of the rest I am looking for they recently updated (like MOAR Deep Magic), but I would really like them to keep up with the mythic versions, especially if we can look at mythic racial abilities. I know there is an attempt at a new KS later this year similar to the last one, but sadly KP is not on the list of participants this time...

New Paths Compendium Kickstarter in it's Final Few Days!!

That's right, this is it! The FINAL FEW DAYS!! The Kickstarter for the revised, updated, and expanded New Paths Compendium hardcover ends this Friday, July 28th!

It's been quite a success so far, and the book is going to be something special! We’ve hit a bunch of stretch goals, including new Death Feats, new spells, combat divinations, new archetypes, and a ton of additional art. We also added 3 brand-new classes - the Tinkerer, Mystic Archer, and Warlock, making a total of 11 awesome new classes for your Pathfinder game!

AND, although 11 new classes for your Pathfinder RPG game is a pretty great thing, there's just something special about an even dozen. So, we want to add the Savant class back into the book!

That's right, the Kobolds have been working behind the scenes with the awesome Ryan Costello, Jr. (designer of the original Savant class) to bring a newly revised, refined, and easier to play version of the Savant to the book.

There's not much time though! Can we hit this extra special stretch goal and add the Savant to the New Paths Compendium? We think so, and we thank you in advance for helping to spread the word.

Oh, and for those of you looking for something EXTRA SPECIAL, you can bump up your pledge and snag one of the LIMITED EDITION, foil-stamped, leatherette hardcover editions of the book

If you’ve already become a backer - thank you so much!! If you haven’t yet, please check it out and consider backing today!

We’re so excited about this book and we can’t wait to get it into as many people’s hands as possible!
