Build Challenge: The Buffoon

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Today's challenge is simple. Create a character who functions, plays and works as a buffoon. This includes feats which are comedic in nature, silly mounts, funny (and somewhat effective) weapons, silly combat styles, or what have you. The only limitations are that the character must be somewhat functional in a party, and must embrace and represent the low intelligence and wisdom that is the buffoon.

Hrm. I won't fully flesh out here unless someone wants, but this could fit the bill.

I have a Goblin Mouser Swashbuckler 1/Vexing Dodger Rogue X in a campaign right now. Wouldn't take too much to fit your bill. He already has a massive Acrobatics skill (for his level) and even more massive Climb skill.

His funniest Feat for this is Branch Pounce, since it allows him to leap down and make attacks for added damage, and sports a pair of Boots of the Cat to minimize any damage he takes from such attacks. He climbs all over opponents, getting a huge bonus on defense for attacks from that target (currently, the climbee has a -7 to hit the little guy).

Could shift around some skill points to give him Profession: Circus Clown, or something similar, in order to be more appropriate to your idea.

Liberty's Edge

Handling blundering defense seems called for

Two Words: Gnome Bard.

Roll With It is another good feat for this concept. As far as weapons go, something like boluses, flying talons or dwarven dorn dergars would probably be your best bet since it takes a special kind of person to use something so janky. Really any weapon that is mostly chain/rope would do.
