Steampunk? Meh... There´s tons of other worlds and systems doing that to oblivion.
Slowing down the new rules, but concentrating on the existing ones and doing some finetuning there seems like a good idea to me. Aka more "Unchained" books.
Adventurewise, i hope new grounds will be explored. Like Tian Xia and Arcadia and other more or less white spots on Golarion. Things that give a lot more distinction to other similar games and worlds and make use of the awesome possibilities Golarion offers with its modularity. Because that´s one of Golarions strongest points.

Oriental Adventures!
I would like to see an Oriental Adventures sourcebook. The game has steeped it toe into the eastern Asian gaming waters, but a full sourcebook would be great. Not just Japanese, but also Korean, Chinese, Indian, Polynesian, etc.
There is a whole part of Golarion that remains undetailed.

Well I'm doing the final page layout for the third party Gamemasters Guide to Kaidan for the Kaidan setting of Japanese horror (PFRPG) by Rite Publishing (with forward by F. Wesley Schneider), so there's something for Oriental Adventures.
I'm also currently working on a third party setting called Gothic Western which features content for both Occult Adventures, Horror Adventures and the Old West. I think an Old West setting and rules is a good next setting for Pathfinder.
Regarding the Oriental Adventures post, I'd like to see something like the Mongol Empire, horse tribes, and the Spice Road.

ooo no time travel (i don't want to have to keep track of that.) but i am all about some musical adventures (what do you mean your all playing bards o wait sorry bards and a skald.) you could prolly do mystery with intrigue now a book about romance hmm sounds like it could make for some awkward games so then that would cover comedy for anyone watching.

Maestro bloodline sorcerer would be a very valid choice there too!

I'd like time travel, but I get the feeling that's pretty unlikely. The old 2e Chronomancer book was one of my favorites to read, but not so much easy to play. It's really, really tough to make a decent time travel RPG system. Take all the normal ways a PC group can derail the plot and exponentiate them. Though I would squee like a child if they could somehow do Chrono Trigger Pathfinder style.
I think planar travel is a fairly likely candidate. Or maybe something for deep underground. I could possibly see an Aquatic Adventures book with ships and undersea stuff.

I'd squee three times harder for an adventure that starts in apocalypse land that revolves around going back in time to stop it from startin.

Yeah, steampunk kind of jumped the shark once people who knew nothing about the fiction genre started talking about it solely as a line of clothes.
Clearly, we need NEW kinds of "-punk!" Imagine:
"Powderpunk" - based on 17th-Century technology
"Copperpunk" - based on Mesopotamian/Egyptian technology
"Cassettepunk" - based on 1980s/1990s technology
"Paperpunk" - fantasy-leaning world with an Oriental aesthetic based on extraordinary paper-based technology (origami and kites are just the beginning!)
"Spiritpunk" - world powered by spirituality/animism/demonology, contrasts rich spirit world with stark-featured material world
"Pyropunk" - asteroids orbiting sun, explosions, pyrotechnics, speed and action, survival based on combination of magic and science
"Antipunk" - futuristic technology that accomplishes LESS than present technology

High-fantasy post-apocalyptic.
The reason why Golarion is gone in Starfinder? Because the Worldwound opened wider, the demons won the war, and Rovagug is comin' back, baby! It's a setting that has yer "points of light" on the verge of being snuffed out...unless you can step up.

Extra votes for Oriental Adventures here. As mentioned, it's a land of Golarion left somewhat left untouched, and if we've already done horror movies and spy movies, it's high time for some Wuxia!
The obvious potential for monk love is great, and it would be a great time for them to print classic monk archetypes re-done for Unchained Monk.

I don't know about more crunch for Asian themed stuff (though I wouldn't say no to it), but I'd definitely like to see more of the fluff for Tian Xia. We've had several threads here where people (including me) have requested an "Inner Sea Faiths" type of book for the Tien pantheon.
Knowing more about the relgions, the countries, the roles of various races, etc would be cool.
Even more neglected than Tian Xia is Vudra, so I'd like to see that continent detailed more, as well.

I don't know about genres per se, seems like they've covered underwater with the upcoming Ruins of Azlant and I don't care for a Golarion steampunk. I'd like to see them give another stab at an evil campaign sometime in the future--maybe Geb or Darklands?
I think a plane-hopping campaign would be neat, but a) there's lots of places in the Inner Sea I'd like to see explored first, and b) PFS Season 8 seems to be doing that right now, so I won't hold my breath.

Pathfinder Modern.
Pathfinder Supers.
Of course, as soon as I typed that last part, I just remembered that what I REALLY want to see is for Paizo and Green Ronin to get together and make an unholy hybrid of Pathfinder with Mutants & Masters . . . . Now THAT'S worthy of a new edition.
I want a pathfinder supers so bad mutants and masterminds just doesn't play the same. I have found something very third party that fits its called man-made Mythology It plays very much like pathfinder almost to the point that you could allow a character form that book into pathfinder. I have a thread on it already. It came out a few years back on kick starter I found it recently I really like it I just wish they would have done more with it. It could probably use a little polishing up. I've been talking to some of the crew that wrote it and from what I can tell they are thinking about doing a newer edition of it but I think since there is not much demand there in no hurry about it. look it up on drivethru.

Epic Adventures seems like something the fans want, though it'll take effort to make it different from Mythic.
Planar would be really cool. Perhaps Mythological/Pop Culture Adventures and include PFRPG versions of characters from myth like Hercules, Sherlock Holmes, and King Arthur, and have sections on running games with big characters like this and I how to convert other characters.
Though, the next RPG line book I want would be Ultimate Exploration and include a full class version of the Archaeologist (make it a full BAB 4/9 caster) and a comprehensive guide on building dungeons, and other places to explore, with mechanics for determining dungeons appropriate for parties of varying talents and APL. Indiana Jones!!!!!
Include advice on thematic dungeons, elaborate puzzles, and sample rooms and dungeons.
