All d20 games are technically compatible.
True but Pathfinder has nuances differing from other D20 products and T20 has some differences as well. I always enjoyed T20's character creation. However, I despised the fact that their technology paradigm didn't allow for other space based sci-fi staples (shields, FTL Communications, et cetera). I'd like to see how those could translate in the Starfinder rules. By the way Paizo, thank you!

You might find QLIs SciFi20 Design Manual provides some of that, although it's not highly detailed. It's the design manual for their T20 rules, SciFi20 Players' Guidebook being the main rulebook. Some of the other Traveller games (MT, T4 and T5) also include some rulebooks with alternative types of technology like warp drive. They're not directly usable with a D20 ruleset but it's not hard to extrapolate from their treatment of conventional Traveller jump drive and other technology to include the alternatives they provide.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I will have to look into that!Kevida |

Nothing is "stopping" me, per se. I just enjoy T20's charater generation and more lethal combat system. I just dont like dealing with T20's lack of Sci-Fi staples (shields, FTL Communications, et cetera) and the system's rules don't allow for such. You are correct, I could use Starfinder's rules "as is" and I probably will. it's just that I like the darker, edgier style of T20. I appreciate your input! :-)

I suppose that you have given this a whirl.

Not with that specific book, but I've converted stutterwarp drives for T20 and done some work on a 'Vatta's War' setting with FTL communication relays and other non-standard technology. I'd expect I've got a backup of the notes for that somewhere.
