I'd personally hack in the Fear and Sanity systems from Horror Adventures, but beyond those already mentioned, there wasn't anything I noted. Personally I'd keep track of supplies though, an element of resources scarcity I think helps this feel more desperate considering the circumstances.

I'm using the Automatic Bonus Progression for Hell's Vengeance and so far it hasn't been a lot of work and I don't see why that would be any different for Strange Aeons.

I use ABP in my Iron Gods campaign, except that I dropped the weapon and armor attunement stuff. I remove magic items that no longer exist from NPCs, and add their automatic bonuses based on only class levels.
