Should have left them as truth and beauty, grumble, grumble.

Thank you, Khudzlin, I think that is the closest we are going to find in any the three systems. It at least answers half of the question (How to read BAB by RAW). Fact that we had to go to the 'parent' system remains a problem, though. New players will not know to look at 3.x rulebooks, and most likely needing to do so would make them chuck the game as a whole.

The d20pfsrd is specifically a Pathfinder reference (or is the "pf" in it misleading?). Also, the description for Flurry of Blows is in the CRB (Monk class description), and so are the Two-Weapon Fighting feats it references. That gives us a Flurry of Blows with 7 attacks at 20/20/15/15/10/10/5 (all with the -2 penalty specifically called out in Flurry of Blows). That leaves us only with the question about what BAB to use when replacing iterative attacks with combat maneuvers. The d20pfsrd quotes an FAQ entry about that saying you use the same value for the BAB for the maneuver as you would use for the attack it replaces. And even if I couldn't find this entry in the FAQ, I don't think the people who maintain the d20pfsrd site invented it (especially since the CRB says combat maneuver checks are attack rolls). It's not really necessary to refer to 3.0 or 3.5.
