Sorcerer Elemental Bloodline with Spells from other classes

Rules Questions

Silver Crusade

Basically the topic is the question: if I get spells from other classes, can I change their type with the Bloodline ability? It didn't specify if it was Sorcerer spells that it could affect.

Thanks!

I don't see why not, it doesn't specify and multiclass casters aren't as likely to be gamebreaking as single-classed ones.

That's correct.

A Wizard 19/Sorcerer 1 can use the bloodline arcana on all their Wizard spells.

It is technically correct, though I've long believed that it shouldn't be the case.

There's a FAQ that says it applies to all spells from any class. Which is odd as it makes it the exception that everything in a class is talking about that class.

Yes

Sorcerer: Do the bonuses granted from Bloodline Arcana apply to all of the spells cast by the sorcerer, or just those cast from the sorcerer's spell list?

The Bloodline Arcana powers apply to all of the spells cast by characters of that bloodline, not just those cast using the sorcerer's spell slots.

General rule: If a class ability modifies your spellcasting, it applies to your spells from all classes, not just spells from the class that grants the ability. (The exception is if the class ability specifically says it only applies to spells from that class.)

Silver Crusade

Thanks! That answers my question. I guess I should have looked closer at the FAQ.

Scarab Sages

It's why the best Spellslinger is spellslinger 1/sorcerer 19, and why the best blaster is Crossblooded Orc/Draconic 1/Evoker 19.

It's completely legal per the FAQ, but I wish it wasn't. And if I had to bet on which FAQs might be reversed, that one would be near the top of the list.
