Hi
We are looking at the Witch Deck and struggling to think when you'd really use the charm bracelet.
"Recharge this card to add the magic trait to your check"
So early on ghosts and the like are an issue, but these witches are going to be using attack spells 99% of the time, so the magic trait is there already. But non combat checks that need that magic trait? I can't think of any.
Maybe it'll be a Mummy's Mask thing...?

True.
I meant to say, one Fighter casts spells with the Arcane skill and carries spells in her deck.

It's important to note that you can also give cards to other players strategically:
At the beginning of an AP or season, it might be beneficial to give the charm bracelet to a martial character that has no means of overcoming banes like ghost otherwise as a form of support.
Apart from that, you can still use the variant to shuffle the class deck cards into the box when playing a normal AP, so everyone would be able to find the charm bracelet.

In an AP, yes. In a season, no, at least not if you are reporting your play. At the start of each session, your deck needs to be your deck (maybe with whatever Loot type substitutions you have earned as rewards). But if you are playing a season as another home game, that would be fine.
Edit: I bet you mean "at the beginning of" to mean "for the first few scenarios, until the martial character gets a magic sword, give the card during play", and yeah, that's fine and a good idea. At first, I thought you meant "before you start playing", which is called out as a no-non in the guide to play.

Yes, that's what I actually meant, although it was poorly worded. :)
Although I'm unsure what happens at the end of the scenario with cards that were given to other players. Do you get them back, or do they get banished?
I always play that they are given back to their original owner before rebuilding decks in my home game, but I can't find anything official in the guide.

I'm pretty sure they go back to their original owner, unless the person they gave them to got them banished, of course.
