Want help with creating a campaign like Castlevania SotN

Advice

I want to build a campaign to take some level one characters to level twenty. I just finished Symphony and I thought that making the entire campaign in one castle would be really cool. Maybe I don't want the whole thing based off of Castlevania but the sort of feel should be there. What do you guys think? I'll be playing with some new-ish players, they have played tabletop RPGs for about a year, with pathfinder being played for about 3 months, I have played tabletop RPGs for about ten years and I've pathfinder for about two years. I thought this sounded fun but i wanted to get feedback before I go through all the work

I think it would be fun. Dracula's castle could have plenty of extraplanar spaces to help it be vast. Yeah, it's doable.

Cool, Here's a question though, would you think my players would get bored of only having the castle, and if so how could i fix that?

Check out the old Castle Ravenloft module.

It is pretty much exactly this.

I did this before.

Recomendations: use the half vampire template from libris mortis (3.5) For
"Alucards"

And for the Belmonts just let them use the Vampire Bloodline from Unearthed Arcana (as some kind of gestalt thing).

The Danasty i used the shifters from Eberron, and for the Belnades i use any human.

For the campaign itself, is like any other campaign, but i focus mine with the plot regarding Gabriel Belmont is the first Belmont and Dracula.

If you think so, the belmonts (before LoS were decendants from Alucard [son of Dracula] with trevor belmont being the breed from Alucard and Sonia Belmont) but with lords of shadows timeline, this comes better than before!

Dracula itself is a Belmont

Regarding Vampire Killer and Combat Cross:
it is said that Rinaldo Gandolfi never finished the scheme for the Combat Cross, because he disapeared sudenly (this means that the combat cross is it not the vampire killer, but was a prototype of it)
then, in Lament of Innocence, you meet rinaldo who shows you how to create the vampire killer, the final and empowered version of it. there are like 100 years between the rinaldo from LoS and the one at LoI but remember that he is in the wood of eternal night so, the time is somehow frozen, so he lives here and this answered the question Where Gandolfi went?

so, now, the Lecarde family: lecarde means Alucard, so, this bloodline (belmonts cousins) are sons of alucard directly (like Trevor) but without a Belmont. so, they are powerful but not so powerful to match a belmont itself.

mmm i wrote my campaign but i lost that hd some years ago. i was a huge fan of Castlevania, also, i pathfinderized a lot of things from it but sadly i lost everything... i remember some items and places so, if you are interested just let me know

No, you have the castle itself, the courtyard, the sewers, and you augment it a touch with some extra-dimension goodness. You can easily creat a "floor" that takes them through a small infernal demiplane where D gets his demonic helpers. The sewers good lead to the plane of water, which explains all the fish-folk attacking the PCs.

You'll take some liberties, but it will be fun.

Also, take a page from VHD: Bloodlust and have a "floor" that is an illusion and takes place in the pcs heads.

the Belmont lineage as i remember goes something like this (i forgot some characters like the Desmond´s sisters names)

1 Gabriel Belmont
2 trevor Belmont
3 Simon Belmont
4 Leon Belmont
5 Sonia Belmont
6 Ralph C. Trevor Belmont
7 Christopher Belmont
8 Zoe, Desmond, and Dolores Belmont
9 Simon Belmont
10 Juste Belmont
11 Richter Belmont
12 Reinhardt Schneider Belmont
13 Victor Belmont
14 Julius Belmont

Thanks for all the tips guys, and I think You're right, I do Have alot to work with. I will check out out Castle of Ravenloft it sounds interesting, could give me some ideas at the least
