Suggested Monsters with Gaze abilities (GM Advice)

I'm currently building a dungeon/boss encounter, with the boss NPC having many monsters under his control. He has a constant theme though, in that all of them would have gaze abilities. Unfortunately, the only monsters that fit that bill, that I'm familiar with, are Basilisks, so, I was wondering if there were any other cool ones CR 10 or lower?

Medusae and Bodaks jump immediately to mind.

Burning gaze is a spell with a similar effect to a gaze attack thematically.

Hounds of Tindalos(B2) have a ripping gaze, and a lot of fun abilities as well.

Spirit Nagas have charm person gaze attacks.

I think it's important to clarify, does this villain have non-intelligent monsters under his control, or all kinds of monsters? Because creatures like Nagas or Medusa are intelligent, and likely have their own agendas.

The villain specializes in enchantment spells, so, all the monsters are being mind controlled. I should've mentioned, haha.

The premise of Mesmerists is that they can stare at people and mess them up, even though you don't technically have to be able to see them. It seems you care more about flavor however. This wouldn't be a monster but could be a good boss fight.
