Summons for healing

The Exchange

A post on another thread got me wondering: assuming a wizard took all the summon monster I spells, at what point would he be able to summon a creature that could provide the following non-wizardly abilities?

Cure light wounds
Lesser restoration
Neutralize poison

In short, what creatures on the official summons list can pinch-hit for the healer?

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

Bralani from MS5 has cure serious wounds.

Lillend from MS6 has cure light wounds, cure serious wounds.

A bunch of celestials from MS9.

Summon Nature's Ally has some better options.

With the Ring of Archon
Harbinger Archon can cure at SM3.
With Summon Good Monster
Unicorn can neutralize poison at SM5, Kirin can lesser restoration at SM6

Summon Monster 6 allows you to summon multiple Bralani Azatas. Each has Cure Serious Wounds for 3d6+6. If you have Superior Summons, that means you'll get an average of 3. And then they can do it again next round.

That 9d6+18 (average 49) makes them one of your best in-combat healing options until a Leric starts casting the Heal spell. And if you're playing a high Charisma Summoner, the Azata option is far less taxing on your overall resource pool.

I have used the ring of Archon on my low level master summoner to diminish wand demands to great effect. The ring gives you a freebie and the creature isn't awful.
